In the reviewed monography four stages of modernization in the history of economic development of Argentina more than for hundred years are analyzed. Strongly pronounced cyclic character of the process of progressive advance is underlined. The reasons of alternation of the waves of modernization and the periods of stagnation are analyzed. The special attention is given to the analysis of modernization project, which author defines as «neo-developmentalist». The author estimate the conditions of «organic modernization», which can shift country development in steadier channel.
В рецензируемой монографии анализируются четыре этапа модернизации в ис- тории хозяйственного развития Аргентины более чем за 100 лет. Подчеркивается ярко выраженный циклический характер процесса поступательного развития, рас- сматриваются причины смены волн модернизации периодами застоя и стагнации. Особое внимание уделено анализу современного модернизационного проекта, ко- торый автор монографии определяет как неодесаррольистский. Оцениваются условия реализации органичной модернизации и связанные с ней перспективы более устойчивого развития страны.
