- Abstract
- The object of analysis in the article is the Unasur evolution and current state. The main theoretical views on the integration nature of that block are considered. In his analysis, the author recognizes that Unasur represents the South-American framework of the modern Latin American integration of the alternative type. The main achievements of that association and the forms of cooperation, which are so far at a design stage, are considered. The institutional crisis of that association in 2016-2017 is analyzed, and the prospects of the crisis overcoming are estimated.
