- Abstract
- The article deals with the genesis and peculiarities of the “Left-Wing Turn” made by the Mexican Communist Party in 1928-1929. The author analyzes the internal and external factors which determined the ultra-leftist attitude taken by the Mexican section of the Comintern. The research is based upon the documents of Russian, Mexican and the US archives which were unaccessible or small-known to historians. These documental basis permits to form a complex vision of the modifications of the strategy and tactics of the Mexico’s Left-Wing movement at the end of 1920-s and to reconsider some old concepts.
