- Abstract
- The article is devoted to examination of doctrine of «Hispani-dad» as an ideological basis for Spanish «soft power» in Latin America in the middle of XX century. It is shown that its main point lies in creating Ibero-American community, based on unity of religion, language and culture. Spanish policymakers headed by F.Franco supported theoretical formation of this doctrine and initiated the foundation of special foreign policy institutes aimed at recovering and expanding the zone of Spanish influence in Latin America region.
