- Abstract
The problem of maritime boundaries in the Caribbean Sea is presented in the article. The 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea shaped the approach of all coastal states to the delimitation of maritime space. The Convention has been used as a base for the solution of existing disputes, but it has also generated new boundary disagreements. The authors discuss the search for a just solution in the process of maritime delimitation.
