- Abstract
The NAFTA model can be conceived of as an isosceles triangle, with the U.S. at the pinnacle of two very long, deep relationships with Canada and Mexico and a kind of a short end, which is Canada-Mexico relationship. This article briefly assesses the impacts of NAFTA on Mexico and Canada twenty years after the trade agreement's launch, and offers a general overview of the evolution and the present state of their bilateral relationship. It provides Mexico's, Canada's and U.S. perspectives of North American integration.
