- Abstract
- The present stage of development of relations between Russia and the countries of Latin America is characterized by a number of new phenomena. One of them is the formation of a strategic partnership, which covers practically all the key areas of Russian-Latin American cooperation and is not circumstantial but sustained and lasting. Lately, however, this process is complicated by a number of adverse external and domestic factors. In these circumstances, it is important to periodically clarify the strategic goals and foreign policy priorities of the partners and inform each other about planned actions in the international arena.
