- Abstract
- Discusses the main problems of economic development in Latin America in the post-crisis period (2008/2009). Describes the main causes of the slowdown in economic growth. Special attention is paid to the volume and structure of the inflow of foreign capital in terms of openness of economies and the recession in major trading partners. Based on the analysis of the dynamics of capital flows shows that a significant part of the outflow of capital accounts for its illegal export. Concludes that financial globalization has not only increased the possibilities of Latin American countries in mobilizing additional external resources, but has become a serious destabilizing factor.
