- Abstract
- The article analyses the main aspects of the impact of drug-trafficking on the economy of the country and the internal armed conflict. Also it outlines the history of drug-dealing in Latin American in general and in Colombia in particular and compares its scale in different countries. An attempt to give answers about its positive and negative effects and influence on the welfare of Colombians is made in the article.
