- Abstract
- Tough competition on the global markets forces national producers to rely on trade remedies that go in line with the current rules of international trade regulation. Following the requests by national industries, Latin American countries actively apply antidumping procedures; countervailing and safeguard measures are also in force. The paper reveals trends in the regional use of these instruments and their features depending on the level of national economic development, involvement into integration agreements and the WTO activities.
