- Abstract
The relations of the European Union with civil society organizations in Latin America are analyzed. Forms of cooperation are presented and examples of EU targeted programs for civil society organizations in Latin American countries are given. The article analyzes the forms of participation of civil society organizations of Latin America in the discussion of agreements on association with the EU. It also analyzes the difficulties in maintaining a dialogue between EU and civil society in the region. The article makes a forecast on the prospects of development of the EU dialogue with civil society in Latin America.
