The article analyzes the macroeconomic framework of the BRICS at the beginning of the global crisis based on the methods of fractal economy and anthropological political economy developed by the authors. The most important macroeconomic strains in the structures of these countries are revealed. As the means to harmonize relations between the BRICS authors proposed a project to create a single intermodal freight transportation system.
