- Abstract
- The role of BRICS countries is growing in the modern world economy. In the system of international economic relations, these States can be attributed to regional leaders. The article discusses theoretical concepts and approaches to the concept of regional leadership and identifies the characteristic features of economic leaders. Based on the analysis, the role and participation of Russia and Brazil in integration processes and global governance is determined.
