Abstract

The article analyses the foreign policy of Chile in Latin America during the presidency of Michelle Bachelet. Particular attention is paid to the role of the Pacific Alliance. The author comes to conclusion that the Chilean policy in the region proved to be quite efficient: due to the development of bilateral relations and free trade agreements, as well as active participation in the integration processes, the Chilean government was able to give the powerful impetus to the country's economic development and to position itself as one of the leaders in the region.
