- Abstract
- The article attempts to prove that in Latin America in the XVI-XVIII cent. Jesuits tried to create their own state - empire, based on high Christian ideals. In our opinion, the Jesuits partly managed to carry out the project within the continent, putting the economy at the service of ideology. We believe that success in this idea realization became possible thanks to Jesuits use Inca Empire economic structure experience. All this led to socialist and even communist principles at the Jesuits enterprises, namely: social work, mutual aid, and effective labor division in the complete competition absence, i.e. production planning inevitable.
