Abstract
The article examines key developments in global economic and political structure and their impact in Latin America. The main feature of post-crisis development of the world economy is an increased economic instability, which could eventually lead to a deterioration in external conditions for economic development in the region. In this situation increases the value of the more active use of internal driving forces of economic growth, which dictates the need for urgen socio-economic reforms.
