Abstract
The priority vectors in the domestic and foreign policies of T.Vazquez’s government were analyzed in this article. The social orientation of the domestic policy is the main characteristic of the Vazquez’s administration. Economic crisis in 2001-2002 led to the drastic deterioration of the life quality for a various strata of society, growing unemployment rate, poverty and the disappointment in the policy of traditional parties. Centre-left coalition government have elaborated and realized special Plan of urgent social aid for the most affected groups of people. Foreign policy of the centre-left government is very pragmatic and realistic. Picking up the directions of the foreign policy and choosing among the partners in Mercosur, the USA or Venezuela or another Latin American countries helped to support the resisting exporting level.
