- Abstract
- The article deals with the evolution of Brazilian foreign policy paradigm after the return to democratic rule. Within a short period, the country has managed to cope with difficult economic challenges and to become a regional leader. Brazil has an active foreign policy on regional and global levels, elaborates another concept of "development", "development aid", "sustainable development". The bright, active, multi-faceted diplomacy of Brazil is associated with the president F. Cardoso, Lula da Silva. The paper analyzes the approaches of political scientists in the evolution of the conceptual foundations of Brazil's foreign policy.
