- Abstract
- The article examines the results of Mercosur development over the last 20 years. Both problems and successes occurring by creation the Custom Union and adoption the common Custom Code are analyzed. The author directs the special attention to internal trade issues within Mercosur deteriorating by existing asymmetries . Also the article is intended to provide current analysis on the issues relevant to the expansion of the alliance in the region and inclusion of Venezuela in it.
