Abstract
In this article are considering the questions of historical development and state-system of Belize. In detail is beeng stadied political and legal system of the country, structure and staff of the Upper and Lower Chambers of Parliament – National Assembly and the system of their forming. It is noted the important role of the two-large-scale parties-People’s United Party and United Democratic Party and their leaders in the matter of formation and development of parliamentary democracy in the country. There is diving an appraisal of the ethnic, social and confessional differentiation of the Belize society. The were touched some aspects of economical development of the country. There are illuminated some questions for turning of Belize, beginning 1990-years, in one of the centre of international ofshor and tourist business. There are some changing’s in distribution of political forces and public-political situation in the country on the base of results of parliament election at the end XX-th century and in the first of the XXI-st century. Special attention as grantied to the solution on the territorial dispute between Belize and Guatemala, as well as foreign policy of the country’s Government. This policy directed for the defend of National interests and search for its recess in the integrate-processes in Latin America.
