- Abstract
- The article is dedicated to the tragic events occurred in Peru 40 years ago appreciating a selfless labour of scores of Soviet people on elimination of effects of monstrous scale earthquake happened in 1970. The work is based on the author’s personal memories as he was a direct participant of the events described. The volume of the article does not permit to mention by name all the rescue party participants just in the text of the article, but the full list of their names appears at the end of the work.
