- Abstract
- The paper deals with the personal experience of the author who has climbed Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Western semi-sphere, in December 2011. The author describes his impressions and demonstrates what the high altitude mountaineering is. The nature of the Andes, some habits of the Argentines and crossing of the Argentine-Chilean border as well are described, too.
