Abstract

The deep financial and economic crisis provoked in Spain serious social and political consequences. The Socialist Government could not manage the problems and was forced to carry out early general elections that brought to power the opposition. The new political time started on the Spanish Earth. Now the responsibility to lead the country out of recession is on the shoulders of the Popular Party. But its anti-crisis strategy will be implemented in a difficult international environment of the debt crisis in the euro zone.
