- Abstract
- The institutions’ system of the Southern Cone Common Market (MERCOSUR) is under examination of this article. The created intergovernmental institutional structure allowed the grouping to achieve the remarkable success during the first years of its existence. However, during the last period of time the loss of results becomes evident in the activity of this grouping that indicates to the necessity of reforming the last. The article is considering both positive and negative sides of the MERCOSUR institutions and the possible ways of their improvement.
