Abstract
The article deals with the problems, the Paraguayan President F.Lugo faced after the victory of the opposition alliance in 2008. It analyzes the causes and consequences of the Presidential impeachment of the June 2012, when as a result of the elections of the 21 of April 2013 the conservative “Colorado” party returned to power, and the opposition parties, split in various alliances, could not catch up with it. As a result of given analysis, there is also given a forecast of possible main changes in the correlation of the main political forces.
