- Abstract
- The article is dedicated to political process evolution in contemporary Venezuela. Author analyses the relationship (from latent conflict to political repressions) between the government (represented by Chavez) and opposition. Also there has been considered government coalition members’ interaction and new political situation after constitutional amendment referendum (15 of February 2009). Author has estimated medium-term regime perspectives, based on assumption, that Chavez’ regime had entered into crisis stage of authoritarianism loosing its reformist potential. Thus, main objective of Chavez is to consolidate and concentrate his power.
