Round-table conference in the Centre of political studies of ILA

Abstract. In the present analytical review the main problems discussed by the participants of the scientific round-table conference are considered, such as: increasing role of human factor in the contemporary political processes in Latin America, appearance of new social and political phenomena and “anti-civil society” in particular, specificity of political leadership, protest movements, social instability, indigenous peoples issue. Much attention is paid to the concept of “human capital”.
