Abstract

The author analyzes the book of V.V. Sogrin “The United States in the XX-XXI centuries. Liberalism. Democracy. Empire”, which explores the domestic and foreign policy of the United States through the prism of three basic factors of American civilization - liberalism, democracy, empire. The originality of the author’s intention is concluded in discovering of ratio and interaction of three fundamental factors of history and civilization of the United States.
