Abstract
On June 30, 2009, the Institute of the Far East and the journal ‘Problems of the Far East" held a round table dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The exchange of views on the main results of the country's development during this period and its future prospects was attended by: Ph. D. in Economics, Leading Researcher of the IDV RAS O. N.
