США и становление Южного Судана

Аннотация

Соединённые Штаты сыграли ключевую роль в предоставлении независимости Южному Судану, решение о котором было принято на проведённом в 2011 г. референдуме, и оказали ему дипломатическую поддержку и гуманитарную помощь. До начала гражданской войны в 2013 г. Соединённые Штаты поддерживали Народно-освободительное движение Судана (НОДС), ставшее правительством нового государства. Несмотря на то что США и их международные партнёры отошли на второй план в усилиях, предпринимаемых Межправительственным органом по вопросам развития, МОВР (Intergovernmental Authority for Development, IGAD) и соседними странами в стабилизации там внутриполитической обстановки, Соединённые Штаты по-прежнему заинтересованы в урегулировании нынешнего конфликта в Южном Судане, а также в устранении последствий гуманитарного кризиса, вызванного гражданской войной и в предотвращении его разрушительных последствий в регионе.
