[full_description] => В статье проведён сравнительный анализ стилей принятия внешнеполитических решений американскими президентами – республиканцем Дж. Бушем-мл. и демократом Б. Обамой. В частности, на основе мемуаров Буша изучаются обстоятельства принятия неудачного решения о вторжении в Ирак в 2003 г., непредвиденные последствия этого шага и рациональный, высокоэффективный стиль незаурядного Обамы. Показывается, что, помимо личных качеств, для достижения внешнеполитических успехов президентам необходимо везение, т.е. возникновение благоприятных внутриполитических и внешних обстоятельств, не зависящих от их воли.
