Аннотация
В последние годы Социалистическая Республика Вьетнам превратилась в объект особого внимания со стороны Соединённых Штатов. Вьетнаму отводится важная, если не центральная, роль в реализации целей США в Тихоокеанском регионе. Важнейшим направлением развития партнёрских отношений с Вьетнамом Вашингтон на современном этапе рассматривает интенсивное углубление двустороннего экономического взаимодействия. Происходит это в контексте общих сдвигов в геополитической стратегии США.
