Abstract
The article analyses consequences of financial-economic crisis in the USA. It considers peculiarities of post-crisis development, long-term social and economic problems, which hinder the nation's sustainable development. It also deals with detailed analysis of the role and place of the USA in the world economy and influence of economic crisis on the USA international economic positions. The article reviews as well prospects of evolution of American economic model in a foreseeable future.
