- Abstract
- The article is devoted to the achievements and failures of Mexican-American relations during the time of Barack Obama presidency in the U.S. (2009- 2017). The paper considers the most important issues on the bilateral agenda, such as migration, economic cooperation, combating the illicit trafficking of drugs and weapons in the context of the application of the "soft power" policy. A comparative analysis of foreign policy conducted in this direction by the previous administration of George W.Bush (2001-2009) was also conducted.
