- Abstract
- In spite of dramatic changes in international situation (stopping of global military confrontation and growth of regional conflicts) which has been happening for the last years, one of the main priorities in the field of military-technical strategy across the developing regions is to improve qualitative characteristics of armament by critical technologies implementation in modernized and new weapon types. Today Argentina's military capability are modest especially in comparison to its regional neighbors. Argentina needs to modernize its armed forces and military equipment. The country also needs to rebuild its national industry and to get access to new technologies. Considering Argentina's financial difficulties its armed forces will be built according to Colombian model and will be focused mainly on fighting against drug trafficking and organized crime
