Abstract

The present article examines the origins and the history of development of the political crisis Venezuela is faced with as well as its possible consequences for regional integration in Latin America. The author analyzes the role of Venezuela in forming a number of integration blocs with its participation and gives a comprehensive evaluation of impact of the Venezuelan crisis on the further development of Unasur, CELAC, Mercosur and ALBA, in which the Bolivarian Republic holds the key position
