Abstract

The author researches the capitalist class of Latin America that are the national fractions of the transnational capitalist class. Having analyzed the extensive empirical material, the author identifies the main features of capitalist classes in leading countries of Latin America. He considers such aspects as number of billionaires and millionaires, total wealth of billionaires, gender composition, spatial location, global mobility, industry specialization, level of oligarchy domination and talent. The author focuses on capitalist classes of Brazil, Mexico and Chile. He undertakes research on the social system of Venezuela.
