- Abstract
- American James Hartfield (Jaime nevares Sager) is one of the most mysterious figures in the history of the international Communist movement. He played a key role in shaping the Communist movement in Puerto Rico and Colombia. However, very little is known about him. This article attempts to reconstruct - on the basis of documents from the Comintern archive-an important stage of his life associated with his activities as an emissary of the world Communist party in the Caribbean region.
