- Abstract
- In this article is considering historical development of Saint Kitts and Nevis, arouse the system of parliamentarism and legislative structures of power. There is given the appraisal of ethnic-racial and confessional composition of the country’s population. There are illuminated the questions of electoral and legal system of the federation. There is demonstrated the review of the economical development of this Caribbean States. On the base of results of general elections for the last decade are considering some changes in placing of political forces and their influence on the forming of the internal policy of the government. It is noted the imported part of the leading political parties in their efforts for neutralization of the separate tendencies in the island of Nevis and in the process of the perfection of political system of the country.
