The material gives detailed information on the Round Table in the RAS Institute for Latin American Studies (ILA), devoted to the memory of Fidel Castro. It exposes the contents of the reports of all scientific dialogue participants. The special attention is paid to the historical importance of the activities of F. Castro as Cuban Revolution leader, outstanding Latin American and world-scale politician; to his great contribution in the independent regional integration cause in order to maintain Latin American identity, and also in the formation and development of Cuba-USSR and Cuba- Russia relations.
