- Abstract
The article is devoted to the current social and political situation in the Caribbean regions of the French Republic. The author considers the specifics of the party and political situation in these territories and pays special attention to the new political balance of forces formed on Martinique and Guadeloupe after the regional elections held in December 2015. The article also refers to the social and economic and institutional priorities of the new regional authorities.
