Abstract

November 28, 2017 the Center for Policy Studies of the Institute of Latin America of the Russian Academy of Sciences held a "round table" on the new alignment of political forces in the region during the last decade. Representatives of the ILA and other centers analyzed the reasons and consequences of the so-called "right shift" for the entire region and for some countries. This article includes the summary of the papers and the amendments made later.
