Abstract

The article explores the problem of the Cuban concept of human rights and its practical application in left-wing countries. Key differences in the Cuban interpreta-tion of basic human rights from the traditional liberal concept are analyzed. In addition to the theoretical aspect, a study is dedicated to Cuba's cooperation with Venezuela and Ecuador in the implementation of so called "social missions".
