In the depths of the structure of related relations, there is a gradual transition from the predominantly biological organization of society to a complex socio-system oriented towards the creation of an artificial habitat, the anthroposystem. The reconstruction of the terms system of kinship (STR), proposed by G.Ershova, takes into account the most significant evolutionary changes in the family-related relations of Maya and is based on the historical and cultural context of the transformation of the concepts of the kinship system as a whole.
