- Abstract
- Central Americas acquired an enormous amount from the second half of the XIX century. At the very beginning all Levantine immigrants were not differentiated at host countries on a national basis, though the vast majority of them previously were residents of the Arab areas of the Ottoman Empire. The initial stage of the mass immigration of Arabs in Latin America is very important for correct evaluation of their great contribution to the culture, politics, business and economic life of the host Latin America countries. The author intends to continue its study of the Arab diasporas, covering key periods of the XXth century so as the first decade and a half of current century.
