- Abstract
The objectives of the South Atlantic Peace and Cooperation Zone have been in the interests of not only affiliated countries, but of some extra-regional actors as well - which include Russia. The article describes the peculiarities of the organization, as well as approaches of Argentina and Russian Federation to the most important issues within the zone, such as case of the Malvinas, territorial disputes in Antarctic, demilitarization.
