- Abstract
- The order of the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin to the RF Government and the Bank of Russia to study by 1 September 2015, the possibility of creating a monetary Union, the EEU can not affect the scientific sphere. At the initial stage of forming a monetary Union, a multilateral system of payments in national currencies is usually created. In Latin America, in November 2008, the member countries of the Bolivarian Alliance set a strategic goal of introducing a single unit of account and a regional-level multilateral payment system (SUCRE) to eliminate the negative impact of the US dollar on the development of their economies. The article discusses the experience of creating this system, which began operating in 2010, which can be useful for the Eurasian monetary integration.
