Abstract

Latin America seventy years ago and seventy years later As to common opinion in Latin-American countries underestimates the impact of World War the Second (WW2) on the region and that affect historiographical interpretations. The impact in reality was mostly outside and indirect, but there were many cases of direct involvement in military operations. Lessons of forcing tension on the eve of WW2 somehow resonate with the confrontation risks of «collective West» with nowadays Russia. However today, Latin America that significantly developed its potential and expanding its access to the mechanisms of global regulation, can influence with significant positive result on global situation.
