- Abstract
- The paper analyses the contemporary changes in the energy sector of Brazil. The development of renewable energy and increase of the oil production are one the main trends in the Brazilian energy balance. This is the result of the national energy policy. In 2007 the new energy strategy was approved in Brazil: Plan 2030. The author examines it and also estimates the impact of the global economic crisis on the development of the Brazilian energy sector.
