- Abstract
- The book written by the famous Colombian journalist and politician, former defense secretary and now president of Colombia makes previous balance of the policy of democratic security applied by the president Alvaro Uribe V?lez (2002–2010). The author thoroughly ex-poses the official doctrine of the struggle against the terrorism, represented by the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), shows the mechanisms of planning and practical realization of the most successful military operations in order to suppress the guerilla movement. The book contains detailed information unknown for Colombian and foreign reader.
